Job Title: Aircraft Engine Mechanic

At Sky Jet Services, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Aircraft Engine Mechanic to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our jet engines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and follow manufacturer manuals, diagrams, and work scope to perform maintenance and repairs on engine parts and modules.
  • Assemble and disassemble engines and modules, and conduct maintenance and repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure that all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
  • Record all work performed accurately on maintenance records, and ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with FAA regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Requirements:
  • Power plant license is strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with Quantum software is a plus.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English in compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Basic aircraft maintenance tools and a strong attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to work varied hours, including overtime, weekends, and travel as needed.
  • Physically capable of performing strenuous tasks and working in various positions.
  • Positive attitude, team player, and proactive approach are essential for success in this role.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. and willingness to undergo FAA-mandated drug testing are required.
