About the Role

Crescent City Schools is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate School Social Worker to join our team. As a key member of our school community, you will play a vital role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students, addressing a range of issues including mental health, poverty, and social adjustment.
  • Conduct assessments and develop plans to meet the needs of students, working closely with teachers, families, and other school personnel.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.
  • Collaborate with community agencies and organizations to provide additional support services to students and families.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and meetings to promote student success and well-being.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and build strong relationships with students, families, and staff.
