Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team at the Maryland Vision Institute as a Patient Care Associate. This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients professionally and efficiently, both in person and on the phone
• Answer questions and issues promptly, providing accurate information and referrals as needed
• Optimize provider schedules and patient satisfaction through efficient scheduling
• Notify providers of patient arrivals and ensure timely communication
• Comfort patients by anticipating anxieties and effectively addressing their concerns
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring availability of treatment information
• Verify financial records and collect patient charges, expediting third-party claims
• Maintain office inventory and equipment, anticipating supply needs and expediting orders

Requirements and Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Exceptional customer service skills, with ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Knowledge of MS Office and electronic medical records software a plus
• Experience in healthcare preferred, but not required - we are willing to train the right candidate
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus
