Biostatistical Consultant II, Internal Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled Biostatistical Consultant II to join our team at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. As a key member of our Division of General Internal Medicine, you will work closely with investigators to design and analyze studies, develop statistical analysis plans, and provide expert consultation on data management and analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with investigators to identify research questions and design studies
- Develop and implement statistical analysis plans, including data management and analysis
- Provide expert consultation on data management and analysis, including data visualization and reporting
- Work with investigators to develop and submit grant proposals, including statistical design and analysis
- Supervise biostatistical consultants and data entry operators as needed
- Master's degree in biostatistics or related field, or MPH with concentration in biostatistics
- Minimum three years experience in statistical consulting, preferably in a biomedical or healthcare environment
- Working knowledge of SAS, SPSS, or other major statistical packages, as well as Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with diverse stakeholders
