Join Our Team as a Nuclear Medicine Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Physician to join our team at UT Southwestern Medical Center. As a leading academic medical center, we offer a dynamic and collaborative environment that fosters innovation and excellence in patient care, education, and research.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and interpreting examinations, conducting therapy patient consultation visits, and providing consultation to referring physicians. They will also have the opportunity to participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and disease-oriented teams, and engage in research activities with our strong basic science and clinical teams.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and interpret examinations, including General Nuclear Medicine, SPECT/CT, PET/CT, PET/MR, Nuclear Cardiology, and DEXA
  • Conduct therapy patient consultation visits
  • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and disease-oriented teams
  • Engage in research activities with our strong basic science and clinical teams
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree or foreign equivalent
  • Completed a minimum of 1 year of fellowship training
  • ABNM or ABR Board certified/eligible (Dual Pathway or NM Fellowship trained)
  • Eligible for Texas medical licensure and its acquisition prior to the start of employment
