About the Role

BJs Restaurants is a leading restaurant and brewing company seeking a skilled Brewery Operations Specialist to join our team. As an Assistant Brewer, you will play a critical role in the production of our award-winning craft beers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brewing Operations: Assist in the brewing process, including brewing exacting recipes to specification, operating DE filters, racking finished beer into kegs, and maintaining a clean and sanitized environment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of brewery equipment, including forklift operation and yeast management.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of our beers, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other brewery team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Guest Engagement: Provide exceptional service to our guests, sharing knowledge about our beers and brewing process.
Requirements
  • At least one year of comparable brewing experience in a craft brewery or experience as a homebrewer.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly and safely.
  • Comfortable working in a confined space and from elevated platforms and ladders.
  • Flexibility with work hours and availability.
