Job Title: Part-Time Activity Assistant

At SLP Operations, LLC, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. We are seeking a Part-Time Activity Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Part-Time Activity Assistant will assist with developing, coordinating, and implementing activity programs for the personal enjoyment and benefit of our residents. This role will work under the supervision of the Activities Director to ensure that the spiritual, emotional, recreational, and social needs of our residents are met on an individual basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with planning and implementing activity programs, including games, arts and crafts, and other forms of recreation.
  • Encourage resident participation in activities and provide support as needed.
  • Transport residents to and from activities and ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Assist with the care and maintenance of facility recreational equipment.
  • Report any accidents, incidents, or concerns to the Activities Director and Administrator.
  • Participate in in-service training to maintain skills competence.
Requirements:
  • Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
  • Capable of maintaining regular attendance with a varied work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Physical and sensory requirements include walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, and grasping.
  • Must meet all local health regulations and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment.
