Production Supervisor Job Description

Wilsonart, a leading international company, is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team in Temple, Texas. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality and safety standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and manage personnel assignments and training to meet customer production schedules while maintaining safety and quality requirements.
  • Perform daily employee performance and attendance management actions.
  • Assist in developing and orienting new team members.
  • Drive and lead organizational strategic imperatives and initiatives.
  • Implement improvement ideas by leveraging team members' feedback and suggestions.
  • Assist in developing a culture focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Communicate relevant business information, company policies, and business updates to team members.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and organizational stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a closely related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing with at least 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced leadership and team management skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
