Position Overview:
Our client, a prominent player in the sugar wholesale and cooperative sector, is looking for a Financial Analyst to enhance their Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Financial Analyst, you will be the primary user of the SAP Profitability Analysis (PA) module, collaborating closely with the FP&A Manager. Your role will involve:
  • Providing analytical and technical support for ongoing financial operations, including forecasting and reporting.
  • Assisting in the month-end closing process and preparing essential reports, such as profitability assessments and journal entries.
  • Analyzing month-end freight results and evaluating variances against forecasts.
  • Preparing comprehensive monthly financial reports for senior management, including actual and forecasted data, and conducting P&L variance analysis by business segment.
  • Maintaining the integrity of Product and Customer P&L data within the PA module, supporting Sales & Marketing with financial insights for decision-making.
  • Assisting the FP&A Manager on various projects, including financial planning, business analysis, and system enhancements, while also providing backup for cost accounting tasks.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in a financial analyst role.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
  • Preferred experience in data warehouse management.
