Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Job Description

Serving our most vulnerable scholars, the Academic Support Specialist seeks to eliminate the achievement gap everyday by supporting scholars with IEPs (Star Scholars) via push-in and pull-out services. The ideal candidate will be an expert in differentiating ELA, Math, or other disciplines as needed for STAR scholars daily, modify and implement a coherent, research-based curriculum, and supplement curricular materials to enhance scholar learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplement curricular materials to enhance scholar learning experience
  • Support in the design, refinement, and implementation of ongoing assessment, data collection and data analysis to ensure mastery of standards across content areas
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced educator who holds a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, has 2+ years of K-12 teaching experience, and experience with Special Education Compliance: IEP writing, Goal Setting, Family Facing Meetings, Partnering with Related Service Providers etc.
