Director of Production & Sourcing

Fourth Floor is seeking a seasoned Director of Production & Sourcing to lead our production and sourcing efforts in Secaucus, NJ.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with mills and factories to ensure timely and cost-effective production.
  • Oversee cost negotiations to drive best costs and meet or exceed seasonal margin goals.
  • Establish and maintain a strong vendor network to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production and sourcing processes.
  • Identify and resolve production issues to minimize delays and ensure timely delivery.
  • Partner with QA teams to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Manage and update POs in the system to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain delivery reports for weekly review with the team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
  • 8-10 years' experience in apparel Product Development, Production, QA, and Testing.
  • Experience working with big box mass market retailers (e.g., Target, Walmart).
  • Intimates experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing, testing, and quality control.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiating skills with factories and materials suppliers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of fabrics and trims, cost components, and cost breakdown.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Salary: $140,000-$165,000.
