Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of machine shop personnel to ensure efficient and effective production of aerospace components.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to improve their skills and productivity.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve overall manufacturing performance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of production data and metrics.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in machine shop operations, preferably in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with a track record of achieving exceptional results.
  • Strong knowledge of machining processes, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive process improvements.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software and programming languages.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Experience with quality control and assurance processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
