Job Summary:

Ryder is seeking a skilled Industrial Automation Maintenance Specialist to join our team in a Permanent Full-Time capacity. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automated equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, and conveyor systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation of warehouse processes.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including Lock Out Tag Out, Fall Restraint, and Forklift/MHE Operational Safety.

Requirements:

  • Vocational or technical certification in a related field or 3 years of relevant experience required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of 480 volts and pneumatic equipment, as well as computer-based equipment maintenance and parts inventory systems.
  • Ability to use PLC and HMI programming software, including Allen Bradley, Ignition, and Wonderware.
  • Experience with programming and troubleshooting Servo and Stepper motors, as well as Bar Code Scanners and Vision Systems.
  • Knowledge of operating MHE, including Forklift, Scissor Lift, and Boom Lift.
