Position Overview:

Are you ready to leverage your expertise in safeguarding critical information systems? As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining the tools and systems that protect our nation's vital data. Your experience in systems and network security will be essential in identifying vulnerabilities and crafting robust security strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture relationships across various teams, effectively communicating intricate security concepts to diverse audiences, including executive leadership.
  • Implement comprehensive infrastructure and cybersecurity measures, enhancing detection capabilities and improving event correlation across large-scale enterprises.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability evaluations in network, system, and application domains.
  • Utilize advanced data analytics alongside traditional security events to detect sophisticated threats or signs of compromise.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing operating systems, specifically Windows or Linux, and applying necessary patches.
  • Familiarity with network-attached storage solutions.
  • Expertise in maintaining virtualization environments, including Hyper-V.
  • Experience in managing Active Directory objects, users, groups, and organizational units.
  • Skilled in developing deployment task sequences using tools such as Microsoft SCCM/MECM or Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).
  • Knowledge of Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) and Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs).
  • Experience in backup and recovery processes for complex systems.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; readiness to undergo a polygraph examination.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • DoD IAT Level II Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience conducting technical security reviews using system scanning tools like ACAS and SCAP.
  • Familiarity with enterprise server, storage, software, and application services.
  • Experience in configuration management automation using tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
  • Knowledge of SolarWinds NPM and IP Address Management (IPAM) systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Microsoft MCSA/MCSE Certification.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
