About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Athletic Trainer to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our Sports Medicine department, you will be responsible for providing medical coverage and athletic training services to a local high school athletic program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive management of the Sports Medicine Program at the assigned high school
  • Assess and provide immediate care for injuries to interscholastic athletic teams
  • Develop and implement preconditioning, conditioning, and reconditioning programs for athletes
  • Review pre-participation medical forms and information for student-athletes
  • Provide athletic training services to student athletes participating in sports
  • Coordinate practice and event coverage for the Athletic Department
  • Communicate with athletic administration, coaches, parents, and medical professionals regarding injury diagnosis and treatment
  • Document and track athletic injuries via the established documentation system
  • Design and implement injury prevention programs with student athletes
Requirements
  • BOC Certification and MA Licensure as an Athletic Trainer
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
