About the Opportunity

The Mass General Brigham Center for Sports Medicine is a pioneering initiative to establish a nationally recognized and regionally leading sports medicine program.

This program combines the existing sports medicine capabilities across the Mass General Brigham system with a targeted investment program to expand and grow the business.

Job Summary

The Athletic Trainer provides medical coverage of athletic training room duties and athletic events for a local high school athletic program.

They will be responsible for assessing injured athletes and providing appropriate medical treatment.

The Athletic Trainer will collaborate with the Director of Athletics and Team Physician for the assigned program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive Management of Sports Medicine Program
  • Provision of Immediate Assessment and Care for Injuries
  • Preconditioning, Conditioning, and Reconditioning Programs
  • Provision of Athletic Training Services to Student Athletes
  • Coordination of Practice/Event Coverage
  • Communication with Athletic Administration, Coaches, and Parents
  • Documentation and Tracking of Athletic Injuries
  • Design and Implementation of Injury Prevention Programs
Requirements
  • BOC Certification and MA Licensure as an Athletic Trainer
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-3 Years of Relevant Experience
