This innovative approach fosters strong relationships between trainers and clients, leading to improved consistency and results that traditional gyms often fail to deliver.


Job Summary
The Certified Personal Trainer will deliver tailored fitness instruction to clients, motivating them to achieve their health and wellness objectives. A GYMGUYZ Trainer is expected to provide expert guidance while ensuring exceptional customer service. Adaptability to various environments, including private residences and workplaces, is essential.


Responsibilities

WORKING TASKS

  • Implement the personalized workout plan developed from the initial assessment.
  • Select customized exercises that align with the client's specific needs.
  • Demonstrate exercises and ensure correct performance, with or without modifications.
  • Document session notes after each training appointment.
  • Conduct client reassessments every 4 to 6 weeks.
  • Manage client sessions using GYMGUYZ scheduling software.
  • Facilitate secure payment collection from clients as necessary.
  • Provide a flexible schedule to accommodate client needs.

BEHAVIORAL

  • Inspire clients to push their physical limits while offering encouragement and support.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and effective management of appointments.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL, PHYSICAL

  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of exercise equipment after each session.
  • Ensure safe and effective equipment use by clients.
  • Protect the integrity of each client's chosen environment.
  • Apply first aid procedures and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Drive and maintain the GYMGUYZ vehicle for business purposes only.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the Personal Trainer role.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proximity to the service area is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of personal training experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic knowledge of nutrition and healthy lifestyle practices.
  • Familiarity with various exercise equipment and training methodologies.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Certification as a Personal Trainer from an accredited organization.
  • CPR/AED certification.
  • Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. and perform athletic calisthenics.
  • Special Strong Certification is a plus.
