Overview:

The Mobile Patient Care Coordinator plays a crucial role in enhancing the patient journey and ensuring seamless service delivery. This position is tasked with articulating and clarifying the necessary treatments for patients, emphasizing the significance of these treatments for their overall well-being, and outlining the financial options available to facilitate their commitment to care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicates the proposed treatment strategy to patients while highlighting the strengths of the healthcare provider.
  • Actively listens to patient concerns and provides thoughtful solutions to guide them through their healthcare decisions.
  • Offers insights to patients regarding specific strategies that can influence both financial and care outcomes.
  • Facilitates patient agreement on financial arrangements to ensure commitment to treatment plans.
  • Assists patients in navigating the office procedures to schedule follow-up appointments efficiently.
  • Ensures adherence to all relevant regulations and compliance standards, including but not limited to OSHA, HIPAA, and company policies.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a dental or healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology to effectively communicate treatment options to patients.
  • Preferred candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Medical Sales, or a related field.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and healthcare management software.
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts to real-world scenarios.
  • Capable of reading, analyzing, and interpreting various insurance plans and financial documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate productive professional relationships.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven expertise in delivering outstanding patient experiences and fostering positive communication.
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective communication with patients to ensure understanding and acceptance of treatment plans.
