This role involves collaborating with physicians, healthcare providers, and patients, delivering essential case management services for fertility treatments.

Position Highlights:

We are currently looking for a full-time Operating Room Scheduler to become part of our Chesterbrook, PA team. The work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the scheduling of IVF patients' procedures based on their specific treatment plans.
  • Ensure that all necessary consultations and paperwork for patients requiring PGD are completed and documented.
  • Communicate with physicians and nursing staff to confirm patients' readiness for their IVF cycles.
  • Maintain the IVF Master List with daily updates on procedure starts and egg retrievals.
  • Disseminate accurate and updated IVF and ASC schedules on a regular basis.
  • Address inquiries and requests from medical staff promptly.
  • Keep an organized log of patients awaiting procedure dates and inform medical teams of any scheduling backlogs.
  • Manage the scheduling of all operating room and transfer room procedures, considering guidelines, staffing needs, patient preferences, and physician availability.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a medical role, with a preference for knowledge in infertility.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
