- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote our venues for various events, including corporate functions, weddings, and social gatherings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Actively engage in networking opportunities outside the office to cultivate new business relationships and expand our client base.
- Collaborate with logistics and account management counterparts to ensure smooth execution of events and maintain involvement in client relationships.
- Conduct venue tours and presentations for potential clients to showcase our facilities and services.
- Utilize event management software such as Cvent, Venue Ops, TripleSeat, DelpFi, and Caterease to streamline operations and enhance client engagement.
- Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in venue sales, with a track record of achieving $1 million in annual sales.
- Networking Skills: Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with a proactive approach to client engagement.
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively within a team environment and collaborate with various departments.
- Event Software Proficiency: Familiarity with event management software; experience with Cvent, Venue Ops, TripleSeat, DelpFi, or Caterease is a plus.
- Flexibility: Willingness to participate in a mix of office and remote work, as well as engage in local networking events.
