- Organize routine preventative maintenance tasks.
- Supervise outsourced maintenance operations.
- Facilitate the fulfillment of service requests.
- Manage the transition of vacated units.
- Ensure the availability of necessary repair materials and cleaning supplies.
- Conduct periodic inspections of facilities and surrounding areas.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and repair updates to the Assistant Director.
- Comply with all relevant local, state, and federal building regulations.
- Respond to emergency situations as needed.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Post-secondary education is advantageous.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience in building maintenance within residential or commercial settings.
- Fundamental understanding of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, drywall, and painting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals from various socio-demographic backgrounds.
- Ability to interpret and understand blueprints.
- Must be able to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds. Willingness to travel between various locations. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
