Second shift, 3:15-11:15, Monday-Friday. OT as needed

Position Overview:

Mindlance is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to ensure the integrity of clinical products throughout the packaging, warehousing, and distribution processes.

This position demands a meticulous eye for detail, the ability to identify defects and discrepancies, and strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for effective problem resolution.


Qualifications:

Education:

  • Associates degree or High School Diploma with 2 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) across all tasks.
  • Uphold and promote the company’s vision and values.
  • Conduct approval of specifications and incoming inspections for materials and distribution shipments.
  • Perform inspections and sampling of materials and processes.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and assist in root cause analysis for nonconformities.
  • Draft, revise, and adhere to all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions, ensuring proper documentation of activities.
  • Identify and escalate issues that may impact product quality or compliance to the Team Leader and/or Management.
  • Ensure timely resolution of issues and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Execute all tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Additional duties may be assigned to fulfill business requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Pharmaceutical or a related regulated industry, along with a high school diploma.
  • Familiarity with Quality Systems, including Change Control, deviations, complaint management, and documentation management.
  • Ability to work in refrigerated (35F to 46F) and freezer (-20F) environments with appropriate protective gear.
  • Strong reasoning and problem-solving capabilities, basic math skills, and effective communication skills.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills and able to work independently.
  • Mastery of skills necessary to read, comprehend, and comply with SOPs and policies within a GMP environment.

Physical Requirements:
  • No allergies to penicillin or cephalosporin products.
  • Ability to stand and walk extensively on the packaging floor to monitor activities.
  • Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, with potential for overtime and weekend work.
  • Must be capable of standing, bending, and lifting; able to lift up to 25lbs occasionally and 10lbs regularly.
  • Exposure to cold temperatures for extended periods is required.
  • Visual acuity and color perception standards must be met for conducting visual inspections in a cGMP environment.
