- Assist in rooming patients and gathering medical histories.
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record.
- Measure routine vital signs and perform point-of-care testing.
- Support healthcare providers during clinical procedures.
- Coordinate screening tests and follow-up appointments.
- Engage in proactive management of chronic diseases through patient outreach.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of an accredited medical assistant program or relevant experience is preferred.
Certifications: Must maintain current Basic Life Support Certification from a recognized organization.
Skills: Proficiency in English is required; fluency in a second language is advantageous.
Experience: Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred, particularly in administrative roles within a clinical environment.
