Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and assist in the hands-on installation, operation, and upkeep of both new and existing machinery, as well as new line setups.
  • Utilize CMMS software and scheduling tools to monitor and manage maintenance schedules for all equipment.
  • Collaborate with various departments to facilitate production integration for equipment specific to processes, coordinating with staff and contractors as necessary.
  • Contribute to the formulation of new procedures and enhancement of best practices through the creation of work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Effectively communicate work outcomes through diligent data collection, documentation, and reporting to supervisors.
  • Plan and execute preventative maintenance on production machinery.
  • Perform repairs on all production equipment as required.
  • Work autonomously with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-management skills.
  • Conduct inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and carry out preventative maintenance tasks according to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in a technical field, or a minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience in a laboratory, technology, or manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with industry safety and reliability standards.
  • General experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial electrical control systems (480VAC, 208VAC, 110VAC, and 24VDC), as well as pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical drive systems.
  • Proficiency with starters, relays, contacts, and fuses.
  • Experience in replacing pump seals, motors, and gearboxes.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic cylinders, valves, and hoses.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
  • A quick learner who excels in a dynamic start-up atmosphere.
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Willingness to travel between multiple sites as required.
