Role of Associates

As an Associate at Hitchcock Design Group, you will play a vital role in our studio, with a clear path for professional advancement. We seek individuals who demonstrate creativity, technical skill, self-drive, teamwork, a positive attitude, and a dedication to surpassing client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Organizing and executing tasks to fulfill team and client expectations
  • Passion for Excellence: Identify what unique skills you bring to the table
  • Team Collaboration: Partnering with colleagues to achieve optimal project results
  • Design Work: Conducting research, schematic design, design development, and documentation; producing illustrations, renderings, estimates, and both traditional and advanced deliverables
  • Team Engagement: Meeting project timelines, enhancing our resources, learning from over 40 landscape architects, contributing to office culture, and advancing your career
  • Effective Communication: Engaging with vendors, consultants, and clients
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture
  • Experience: 3-7 years in a landscape architecture firm or a related department
  • Design and/or project management experience is preferred
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and traditional graphics (familiarity with Lumion is advantageous)
  • Licensure: Associate I level candidates are encouraged to have completed some parts of the licensure exam, while Associate II level candidates should be fully licensed. We value your commitment to the profession and your growth as a landscape architect.
