Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HR Generalist to join our team at MTS Systems Corporation. As an HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in supporting the HR Business Partner team and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the HR Business Partner team in daily operational matters, including performance management, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for local managers and employees, providing guidance on HR programs, tools, and systems.
  • Administer existing HR programs within established guidelines, receiving direction from HR Business Partners or HR CoEs as needed.
  • Conduct research to support HR initiatives, assist with compliance audits, and maintain employee personnel files.
  • Provide feedback to HR Business Partners on potential policy issues, modifications, and concerns.
  • Support existing and new training or development programs, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications and knowledgeable about relevant national and local laws relating to employment issues.
  • Demonstrate the ability to solve issues through problem definition, data collection, and appropriate action taking.
Education and Qualifications

Bachelor's or University Degree required. HR Certification a plus. 3-5 years of progressive HR experience.
