About ECU Health Medical Center

Our flagship hospital is one of four academic medical centers in North Carolina and serves as the primary teaching hospital for The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. With 974 beds, we provide comprehensive acute and intermediate care, rehabilitation, and outpatient health services to a 29-county region that is home to over 1.4 million people.

Base Rates Starting at $32.00 - Up to $30K Commitment Incentive

As a Registered Nurse with us, you will be responsible for delivering nursing care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing-Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, and other established standards. You will work collaboratively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze assessment data to identify expected outcomes and develop a plan of care.
  • Coordinate nursing care and implement interventions to attain expected outcomes.
  • Evaluate patient progress and document the process.
  • Promote effective functioning of the healthcare team and collaborate with team members to meet patient needs.

Requirements

  • Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

Clinical Ladder

We offer a competitive salary starting at $32.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement through our clinical ladder program. Additionally, we provide a commitment incentive up to $30,000.
