Lead Process Engineer in Manufacturing
As a Lead Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in strategizing and architecting diverse manufacturing workflows within a Lean Manufacturing framework. Your primary objective will be to enhance productivity by evaluating the arrangement of machinery, operational flow, assembly techniques, and workforce efficiency. Additionally, you will identify the components and tools necessary to meet production targets in alignment with product specifications.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
  • Support all production lines by developing and sustaining digital manufacturing guidelines for assembly operations and training production staff to utilize them proficiently.
  • Design optimal production layouts for both new and existing manufacturing lines and departments.
  • Conduct monthly cost assessments on new and existing products to minimize overall production expenses.
  • Perform manufacturability assessments on new power supply designs, including time studies and fixture designs, and automation where applicable.
  • Collaborate closely with Design Engineering to ensure a seamless transition of new power supply designs into the production phase while reducing costs and enhancing quality.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, or comparable design software.
  • Experience with ERP systems and responsible for directing all new manufacturing components to their appropriate departments while establishing time standards for these components.
  • Exhibit exceptional organizational skills in managing multiple projects.
  • Commit to the principles of the company's Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
  • Provide various daily reports to Management regarding shipment tracking, sales, and bookings.
  • Assist in the design of packaging for new and existing products.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and effectively communicate ideas and information clearly, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues, supervisors, customers, and vendors.
  • Engage weekly in various product quality discussions.
  • Investigate and resolve production challenges and facilitate prompt solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LEAD PROCESS ENGINEER
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or an advanced degree or certification.
  • Over ten years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical literature, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Effectively utilize internet/intranet resources, cross-functional Enterprise Resource Planning software, the MS Office suite, and other software applications.
  • Capable of performing troubleshooting tasks.
  • Apply advanced mathematical principles and logical or scientific reasoning to a wide array of challenges.
  • Handle a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
