Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at ASM Research. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, digital workspace, and storage technology, with a proven track record of designing and building complex information technology and systems infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build complex information technology and systems infrastructures
  • Conduct analysis, including planning, designing, and evaluating complex information technology tools
  • Handle user requests for system needs and upgrades that require additional research
  • Implement various applications of a highly complex nature
  • Administer and run complex tests on operating system and related software
  • Schedule, perform, and monitor system backups and data recoveries
  • Perform root cause analysis and diagnostics on production systems
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with team members to implement efficiencies
  • Actively engage in the planning and designing of new platforms and integrating new technologies into existing infrastructure
  • Evaluate new technologies and releases
  • Conduct cost analysis of proposed new/upgraded platforms and technologies
  • Effectively create and maintain relevant systems documentation and user guides
  • Act as a mentor to junior team members
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • CompTIA A+ or ITIL certification preferred
  • 7-10 years of experience in information technology, systems administration, or other IT-related field
Preferred Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and products
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system hardware, software, or networking-related problems
  • Ability to plan and coordinate the deployment of new technology and resolve technical problems individually and as a senior project participant
  • Exceptional customer service skills
