Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic/Crew Member to join our team at TREES BY JAKE, LLC. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of vehicles and equipment, as well as assisting with tree removal and trimming operations.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair our fleet of trucks, including DOT regulated trucks and equipment such as skid steers and stump grinders
  • Assist with tree removal and trimming operations, including operating bucket and/or grapple trucks
  • Drive a tool truck with a 22 foot trailer loaded with equipment
  • Perform inspections and repairs, including lifting and bending
  • Read service and repair manuals, conduct research, and follow directions
  • Assist with stump grinder, skid steer, and chainsaw operation
  • Focus on safety and teamwork, and use proper PPE
  • Work outdoors and handle extreme weather conditions
  • CDL Class B (no restrictions) or higher preferred
  • Diesel mechanic certification a major plus
Requirements
  • 2-3 years' mechanical experience
  • Valid Driver License with a clean driving record
  • Enthusiasm, teamwork, and safety-oriented mindset
