Diesel Mechanic/Technician

White Star Machinery is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Tulsa, OK. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing quality repair services on Bobcat equipment to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner.
This role involves performing basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment. You will also be responsible for identifying problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems and executing effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality repair services on construction equipment to meet customer needs
- Perform basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment
- Identify problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems and execute solutions
- Participate in Service Training programs for the development of skills and knowledge
- Document all repairs and testing for customer and warranty repairs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2-year technical school graduate preferred
- 1-year fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop required; 3-5 years preferred
- Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team
- Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs
