**About the Role:**

As an LPN on our team, you will be responsible for administering prescribed medications and treatments, assisting with patient care, and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

**Responsibilities:**

* Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards
* Assist with patient care, including preparing equipment and aiding physicians during examinations and procedures
* Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
* Participate in ongoing educational opportunities to stay current with the latest developments in oncology nursing

**Requirements:**

* Graduate from an accredited program for practical nursing education
* 0-3 years' experience required, preferably in an oncology environment
* Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required within 3 months of hire
* Current LPN state license and registration with the State Board of Practical Nursing in practicing state

**What You Bring to the Team:**

* Phlebotomy experience preferred
* Experience and knowledge of the purpose and use of medications in the treatment of cancer is preferred
* Demonstrate knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture
* Demonstrate awareness of community resources available to patients and assist with referrals if necessary

The safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. Masks may be requested in all Arizona Oncology facilities regardless of vaccination status. COVID vaccination is recommended.
