Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Outreach Specialist to join our team at FlexStaff Careers. As a key member of our outreach team, you will be responsible for conducting sales and networking activities to drive growth for our PACE program through referral source network building, lead-optimization strategies, and community engagement events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct sales and networking activities to drive growth for our PACE program
  • Build strategic relationships with senior centers, senior housing, community-based organizations, and other referral sources
  • Develop and implement lead-optimization strategies to increase referrals and enrollments
  • Coordinate and attend community events, host events at our PACE centers, and join network groups to create engagement opportunities
  • Integrate with the Intake/Enrollment, Provider Relations, and Marketing Teams to ensure timely referrals and enrollments
  • Provide program education through lectures, presentations, and other necessary communications with community and business stakeholders
  • Manage assigned strategic relationships and ensure continuous and effective communication with contacts
  • Work with the Events and Marketing teams to identify and plan community events and educational activities
Requirements:
  • Associate degree required
  • Minimum of two (2+) years of work experience in healthcare business development, preferably with MLTC, MAP, or PACE programs and/or homecare
  • Knowledge of community-based long-term care services to a dual-eligible and frail adult population
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal
  • Experience utilizing CRM or other database platforms/tools preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook required; Microsoft Excel preferred
  • Knowledge of PACE program benefits a plus
Additional Requirements:
  • Written and verbal fluency in a secondary language required (Chinese - Mandarin & Cantonese)
  • Must be a skilled public speaker, willing and comfortable to present in front of audiences
  • Familiarity with healthcare organizations and general population dynamics within the greater New York Metropolitan region is a plus
  • Willingness to travel throughout the greater NYC metropolitan region (80% of the time)
