Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mitigation Specialist to join our team at Advanced Disaster Recovery. As a key member of our disaster recovery team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional services to our clients and referral partners on large and complex commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Secure all required documentation, including crew sheets, scope sheets, photo documentation, equipment and consumables logs, and moisture maps.
  • Establish project scope and develop drying protocols.
  • Install containment and safety mechanisms, and monitor drying equipment/AFD's.
  • Capture loss data using 3D imaging equipment and provide emergency cleaning and sanitizing services.
  • Secure testing samples for iTel, Lead, and Asbestos, and conduct controlled demolition services.
  • Collect deductibles and provide preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and company equipment.
  • Manage, pack, and move client's contents/personal property, and conduct every job sales activities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Availability for after-hours/weekends when required.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Physically able to work in PPE, including respiratory protection.
  • Ability to work in high places and in tight spaces, as well as fire, smoke, and/or water damage environments with potential for mold & mildew.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two or more years' experience in the insurance restoration industry.
  • IICRC certifications in Water, Fire, and Mold restoration.
  • Current WRT, ASD, EPA Lead Renovator, AHERA Certification.
  • Extensive knowledge of ANSI/IICRC Standards for Professional Water Damage Restoration.
  • Knowledge of and/or work experience with property insurance policies/claims.
  • Proficient with technology such as iPad, iPhone, DASH, Cam, and Xactimate estimating software.
Work Environment

Office and administrative environments, residential and commercial work sites.

Physical Demands
  • Prolonged periods of sitting in vehicles.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time.
  • Prolonged periods of exposure to noise created by power tools, equipment, and heavy machinery.
  • Exposure to standard work site environments and some confined spaces.
Travel Requirements

Minimum travel outside the immediate operating area may be required.
