About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Trainer-Operation CIC to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering instructional materials for Aegis International Programs. This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about driving operational excellence and optimizing production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver instructional materials for Aegis International Programs
Identify student learning objectives and develop course content
Prepare course syllabi, lesson plans, and testing materials
Develop student manuals and evaluate training materials and procedures
Analyze and make recommendations for revisions of curriculum based on system upgrades to software and equipment design

Requirements:

Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Experience as an instructor or curriculum developer
Ability to create and update lesson plans, trainee guides, and presentation materials
Familiarity with NAVEDTRA 131 naval training standards and instructional system design
Instruct in both classroom and laboratory environments
Aegis experience as Senior enlisted or Junior Officer with technical and employment knowledge of the Aegis weapon systems including, CIC operations, signals intelligence and Combat System Training philosophy as it applies to Aegis Programs in support of Combat System operations planning
Self-motivated, self-starter, reliable to work independently and as a team member and be willing to learn new equipment and systems to develop comprehensive training programs

Desired Skills:

Familiar with operations on an Aegis Cruiser or Destroyer
Aegis Tactical Combat Systems Training Team experience
Qualified as Master Training Specialist
BMD experience

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
