Electronic Security Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Security Systems Installation Specialist to join our team at Valkyrie Enterprises. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and troubleshooting electronic security systems for Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of State (DoS) clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install electronic security systems to meet DoD and DoS guidelines and requirements.
- Read and interpret electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical schematics.
- Read and interpret building construction plans (blueprints).
- Use test equipment such as multimeters and cable testers.
- Perform maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and testing of security wiring & power circuits.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience as a technician with installation or maintenance of electronics/electrical systems.
- Must be able to use basic hand tools and test equipment.
- Must have strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently or under limited supervision.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prefer at least 2 years of experience in electronic system installation.
- Prefer at least 2 years of technical experience with installation of electronics/electrical ESS systems.
- Manufacturer's certification or technical training is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and practices such as grounding and electrical safety.
Security Requirements:
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD "Secret" security clearance with the possibility to upgrade to "Top Secret" if required.
- Must be a US Citizen with a valid Driver's License.
Travel Requirements:
- Between 50% - 95% Travel, international and domestic, depending on program requirements.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to reach, climb, stoop, & kneel up to 75% of the time.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
