Service & Installation Technician

Responsibilities:
Install and service burglar alarms, fire alarms, camera systems, access control, and intercom systems.
Provide excellent customer service and support to our subscribers.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure high-quality installations and service.
Requirements:
Must possess a State of Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) or have the ability to obtain it.
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats to subscribers and office staff.
Ability and willingness to adhere to all Illinois Alarm installation and employment policies.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the low voltage industry.
Proven expertise in installing and servicing burglar alarms, fire alarms, and camera systems.
Ability to use a computer and familiar with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Attention to detail and time management skills.
Ability to read blueprints.
Knowledge of National Electrical Code, NFPA 72 & 101, International Building Code, or the ability to learn.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to drive in all-weather conditions.
Ability to lift packages and equipment boxes from 5 lbs. to 50 lbs. if necessary.
Ability to perform On-Call Service (after hours, weekends, holidays on request).
NICET Level 1 certification preferred; if not certified, must be able to obtain it within 18 months of hire.
