Job Summary

Clarendon Early Education Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Child Care Financial Access Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our child care financial assistance programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Eligibility and Access Management: Conduct thorough eligibility assessments, reassessments, and secondary reviews in accordance with DEEC Financial Assistance Regulations, Policies, and Procedures.
  • Child Care and Transportation Billing: Manage child care attendance and billing to the state, educator reimbursements, and secondary reviews of all billing and payments.
  • Transportation and Driver Reimbursements: Process transportation billing to the state, driver reimbursements, and review all billing and payments.
  • Parent Fees and Collections: Handle parent fees billing, collection, data entry, and aging reporting.
  • Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintain audit-ready record keeping of client subsidy files, child care, and transportation billing.
  • Software Testing and Implementation: Support the Department in testing and implementation of program software and apps to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Engage in daily communication with Resource and Referral Agencies, educators, and clients.
Requirements
  • Experience and Skills: Possess experience working in a business/billing/accounting role, education/early education administration, or related Human Service administration. Bi-lingual (English-Spanish) and computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, are highly desirable.
  • Qualifications: Ability to work individually and in a team, high level of concentration, attention to detail, high accuracy rate of data entry, time management, exceptional organizational skills, strong communication skills, experience in customer service and support, and strong interpersonal skills.
