Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in RFP responses and utilize customer applications to generate and interpret data
  • Apply product knowledge to make recommendations to customers
  • Perform field tests and conduct troubleshooting on issues requiring alternative courses of action
  • Demonstrate foundational knowledge of technical principles of products
  • Solve problems using set guidelines or procedures and communicate effectively
  • Assist Sales Representatives with start-ups of new applications in both existing customers and new accounts
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 5 years of oilfield chemistry experience
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • 6+ years of successful technical service or field sales support experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience
  • Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal business systems)
  • History of working in a field requiring autonomy and self-motivation
  • Prior experience demonstrating a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
