Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain water treatment plants to ensure compliance with permits and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor plant operations and adjust process controls as needed to maintain plant efficiency
  • Collect and analyze water samples to monitor process monitoring and reportable analysis
  • Perform general and preventative plant maintenance to ensure the reliability and efficiency of plant operations
  • Ensure discharged water meets quality standards
  • Order supplies and chemicals for treatment and maintain inventory levels
  • Maintain and repair mechanical equipment and buildings and grounds
Requirements
  • Minimum two years' experience in water treatment plant operations or a related field
  • Valid Texas Class C Drivers License and good driving record
  • Class D Water License required within six months of employment
  • Class C Water License required within one year of employment
  • Approved Hazmat training required within six months of employment

We offer a competitive salary range of $21.53 to $27.45 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, TCDRS retirement, 457/401, life insurance, LTD, wellness programs, tuition reimbursement, PTO, and holidays.
