Position Summary:

We are in search of a meticulous Project Coordinator to enhance our Project Advisory team. This role is pivotal in facilitating project planning, execution, and delivery while liaising with stakeholders to guarantee timely and successful project results. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, outstanding communication capabilities, and a solid background in project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee, monitor, and manage a diverse array of contractual and technical documents.
  • Maintain comprehensive regional project and report logs.
  • Conduct site inspections to capture construction imagery, document progress, and observe offsite materials.
  • Examine construction documentation; perform mathematical checks, analyze, and reconcile intricate data, costs, and schedules for accuracy and compliance.
  • Draft reports and coordinate quality reviews to meet client deadlines.
  • Generate field reports and issue final reports and invoices.
  • Complete assigned projects as directed.
  • Prepare and track proposals effectively.
  • Engage with clients regarding overall project coordination, status updates, and potential business development opportunities.
  • Execute a variety of administrative tasks for special projects and initiatives.
  • This position may require local and regional travel, including potential overnight stays.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • Familiarity with the construction administration process is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Strong prioritization, organizational, and time management skills, demonstrating the ability to work independently or collaboratively to achieve high-quality results.
  • Detail-oriented with a proven ability to manage diverse tasks with precision and timeliness.
  • Proficient in mathematics, writing, and grammar, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.). Experience with Bluebeam is highly preferred.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking considerable distances, climbing stairs/ladders, and navigating construction sites in various weather conditions.
Compensation and Benefits:

The annual salary range for this position is between $55,000 and $75,000. VERTEX provides a comprehensive compensation package, including base salary and a discretionary bonus plan. Our benefits package includes healthcare options, dental coverage, company-paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, a 401k plan with immediate matching, and a Flex Spending Account. We also offer a generous paid time off plan, including vacation days, sick time, and paid holidays.
