Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor, Back-End/Pulp, Power & Recovery

Port Townsend Paper Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our team of maintenance millwrights and technicians at our fully integrated, complex, manufacturing site. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving workforce productivity and proper execution of preventive maintenance and repair work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of maintenance personnel in a highly collaborative high-speed industrial environment
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Collaborate with Operations Maintenance Coordinators, Maintenance Manager, and Planning to ensure all maintenance activities are coordinated and executed to established plans and schedules
  • Manage and provide direction for the activities of employees to meet goals while balancing quality, productivity, performance, cost, safety, environmental, and morale of the team
  • Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities (waste) and implement process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental OSHA, labor, and government regulations
Requirements:
  • Minimum of five years' maintenance experience in a high-speed manufacturing facility
  • Prior experience in a leadership position with supervisory experience preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and MS-Project
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
