The Nurse Director for our Women's and Children's Services team will play a vital role in leading our nursing staff, developing departmental goals, and ensuring seamless patient care.

This is NOT a remote position. This role will require relocation to the Madison, WI area upon acceptance of an offer.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for leadership and patient care to join our team as a Nurse Director. As a key member of our Nursing Administration team, you will be responsible for directing services, workflow, and resources for our assigned nursing area.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements departmental goals, objectives, and policies to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Directs clinical activities, including patient assessment, care plan development, and complaint management.
  • Plans, organizes, and directs all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, and continuing education initiatives.
  • Prepares and monitors budget(s) and ensures that assigned nursing area operates within allocated funds.
  • Coordinates and directs internal and externally-driven audits.
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in nursing or related field; Bachelor's degree in Nursing if Master's is not in Nursing.
  • Three years' registered nurse experience, with one year in leadership.
  • State of Work Location: Wisconsin.
  • BLS HCP - American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State or Registered Nurse (RN) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.

The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
