Job Summary

At Ledgent Technology, we are seeking a highly skilled Network Technician to join our team. As a Network Technician, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and installing advanced network routers, switches, and firewalls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Design and Implementation: Design and implement network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure high-performance and reliability.
  • System Administration: Administer and maintain Windows-based workstations and servers, including Microsoft Exchange Server, to ensure smooth operation and optimal performance.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support for LAN-based applications, including VoIP systems, to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor and troubleshoot hardware and software issues proactively to prevent downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed documentation of policies, procedures, and system configurations to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and certification in Cisco CCNA or CCNP.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in computer networks and IT solutions, particularly within a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) setting.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, ability to support sales team with RFP/Bid responses, scope estimations, and hardware/software configurations.
