As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for resolving complex commercial property losses by investigating damages, negotiating adjustments with corporate management, and presenting evidence in legal proceedings.
Key Responsibilities- Examine claims forms, policies, and endorsements to determine coverage
- Investigate claims by interviewing claimants, witnesses, and experts
- Set estimated loss values for clients
- Prepare reports and communicate adjustment recommendations to stakeholders
- Maintain company reputation and insurance product integrity
- 2 years of college or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous experience adjusting complex property or liability claims
- General experience level in excess of 10 years handling claims or working within the industry
- Licenses as required by state and local jurisdictions
