WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

City National Bank, a premier investment management firm for high-net-worth clients, seeks a compelling communicator with the determination and tenacity required to generate new introductions to Financial Advisors while progressing in the realm of financial services sales and business development.

YOUR ROLE:
As a committed and proactive professional, you will play a vital role in establishing new connections with Independent Financial Advisors by effectively conveying how City National Bank's distinctive value proposition serves both Advisors and their clientele.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize various outreach strategies, including outbound calls and email campaigns, to engage potential leads.
  • Inform financial advisors about the advantages of outsourcing their investment management to our firm, which includes access to a team of seasoned professionals and a diverse array of investment products and services.
  • Conduct preliminary consultations with interested advisors to evaluate their needs and ascertain if our firm aligns with their business objectives.
  • Maintain follow-up communication with leads to cultivate relationships and convert them into clients.
  • Facilitate introductions of interested Advisors to the local Sales team, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Collaborate with the local sales team to guarantee timely and accurate follow-ups, enhancing conversion rates.
  • Provide comprehensive reporting to senior management.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position our firm in the marketplace.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in investment sales or internal sales support.
  • Proficiency in basic software applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
  • In-depth understanding of the financial services sector and investment management practices.
  • Demonstrated capabilities in sales, marketing, client experience, business development, analytics, and CRM.
  • Ability to work autonomously while managing a high volume of leads efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven history of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Self-confidence, accountability, motivation, and a strong work ethic.
  • High energy, emotional resilience, and a strategic mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

COMPENSATION:
The starting base salary ranges from $71,825 to $114,734 annually, with variations based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for bonuses and/or commissions.
