About the Role:
The Talent Acquisition Manager will provide leadership and guidance to the Talent Acquisition team, ensuring effective training and support for team members. This role will also lead the selection process for new Talent Acquisition Consultants and Recruitment and Sourcing Specialists, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth.
Talent Acquisition Strategy:
The Talent Acquisition Manager will partner with the Director of Talent Acquisition to develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies, aligning with Michigan Medicine's goals to ensure a high-quality and diverse workforce. This role will monitor and analyze recruitment trends and metrics to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
Recruitment Processes:
The Talent Acquisition Manager will manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding. This role will handle a requisition load, primarily of senior leadership positions or other high-profile openings, ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and internal policies.
Candidate Experience:
The Talent Acquisition Manager will ensure a positive candidate experience through effective communication and a seamless recruitment process. This role will maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times, building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition.
- Minimum of 2 years management or supervisory experience.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
