Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and sustain automated testing scripts utilizing Java and Selenium.
  • Formulate detailed, comprehensive, and structured test plans and test cases.
  • Conduct automated testing and evaluate outcomes to pinpoint issues, bugs, and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Work in conjunction with cross-functional teams to guarantee quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Identify, document, and monitor software defects using issue tracking systems.
  • Execute thorough regression testing upon resolution of bugs.
  • Establish and implement test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Continuously refine test automation methodologies and practices.
  • Keep abreast of emerging testing tools and strategies.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a QA Automation Engineer or in a comparable role.
  • Expertise in the Java programming language.
  • Practical experience with Selenium WebDriver and associated automation tools.
  • Strong grasp of software development and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with additional test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit).
  • Knowledge of behavior-driven development (BDD) tools such as Cucumber.
  • Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
