Role Summary

As the Head of Enterprise at Alto, you will oversee a team focused on accelerating growth through collaborations with manufacturers, hub service providers, specialty pharmacies, and digital health organizations. You will lead the enhancement of Alto's value propositions, ensuring a robust product-market alignment within the pharmaceutical sector and effectively securing new business ventures. In this critical position, you will be at the forefront of trade and channel innovation, championing digital patient services for both specialty and retail products. Your responsibilities will include presenting Alto to prospective enterprise partners, managing the contracting process, and working collaboratively across departments to ensure ongoing partner success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Strategy Development: Formulate and refine the go-to-market strategy through practical market testing, executive workshops, and comprehensive research. Key deliverables include account segmentation, targeting, prioritization, and a deep understanding of customer needs.
  • Enterprise Deal Negotiation: Secure significant enterprise agreements by enhancing value propositions, conducting thorough pre-meeting research, articulating compelling business cases and ROI, negotiating terms, and finalizing contracts with clear implementation strategies.
  • Opportunity Pipeline Management: Identify potential targets, qualify leads, and monitor new business opportunities, providing regular updates to stakeholders, including the executive team.
  • Sales Support: Create case studies, conduct product and market analyses to support partnership strategies, and develop compelling narratives to improve sales efficiency and shorten closing times.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Partner with the Marketing team to select and participate in industry events, utilizing an account-based approach for demand generation and positioning Alto as a thought leader in trade and distribution.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Engage with various departments (Finance, Product, Legal, Operations, People, Sales/Growth) to facilitate successful market entry and growth, inform product development, and identify talent needs.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor emerging markets and trends, identify opportunities for new products and services, and guide long-term strategies to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, strategy consulting, or entrepreneurial roles within the healthcare or technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in launching new initiatives or businesses, with the adaptability to navigate various stages of business opportunities.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with a strong ability to build client relationships and engage with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in selling, demonstrating, and customizing complex technology platforms to meet the unique needs of enterprise partners.
  • Experience in fostering strong cross-functional relationships across departments and with external partners.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical capabilities, and the ability to synthesize data with primary research for informed decision-making.
  • A passion for healthcare and alignment with Alto's mission.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in dynamic start-up environments.
  • Background in hub services or as a pharmaceutical consultant with a deep understanding of Alto's potential.
  • Experience in the pharmacy sector and partnerships across the value chain, including Telehealth, Pharma Manufacturers, and Insurance Payers.
  • Proven success in individual contributor sales roles within a service-oriented organization.
  • Understanding of key issues, terminology, and environments in pharmacy, payors, PBM, insurance brokerage firms, ACOs, provider networks, and health systems.
  • Ability to discuss and elucidate current and emerging issues within target industry sectors and relevant products and services.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary Range: Min: 120,000 - Max: 150,000
  • Total Compensation Range: Min: 240,000 - Max: 300,000 (including commission)

Travel Requirements: Up to 30% of the time
