Overview

Frontera Search Partners, LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled ophthalmologist to join our team on a part-time basis in Bangor. The successful candidate will conduct thorough eye examinations, diagnose visual disorders, and maintain accurate medical records.

Compensation Package

We are offering a competitive salary of $32,000 per year, which translates to approximately $1,538 per week or $1600 / 1-2 days / week for this part-time position.

Job Responsibilities

  • Eyecare Services: Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye diseases without requiring refraction.
  • Diagnosis and Documentation: Diagnose visual disorders and document findings accurately.
  • Medical Records Management: Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and utilize systems for managing patient appointments efficiently.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid state license to practice medicine in any state.
  • Anatomical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of anatomy related to the visual system and common ocular diseases.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and patient interaction.
